Please join us for this unique meeting of comedy and music. Denmark's acclaimed violinist, Anker Buch has appeared in more than 7000 concerts, with symphony orchestras and in solo concerts. A comedian in the style of Victor Borge, with whom he has performed, he has also appeared on numerous American talk shows, including the Johnny Carson, Merv Griffith, and Today shows. Founder and director of the famous Denmark School for Strings, he is a graduate of The Juilliard School. Noted for his virtuosic playing and his humor, Mr. Buch often starts his concerts with "Good ladies, evening and gentlemen" and after a few bars of music, turn the composition into a riot of showpieces displaying a dazzling technique. His masterful blending of classical music and side-splitting comedy has thrilled audiences on every continent. He will make his first solo Harrisburg appearance at the Forum on Sunday, April 29, at 3 PM. with his nephew, Odin Rathnam, and the Wednesday Club Youth Chamber Orchestra.
