President Carolyn called our weekly meeting to order at 12:10 P.M. Wil Everhart provided the invocation and Marion Alexander led us in singing with "America, the Beautiful" followed by the pledge to our flag.

Jessica Malone introduced the guests of Rotarians Levine, Hungerford, Saline, Brinton, Frese, and Jackson-DeGarcia.

Mini Classification Talk - Anthony Worrall is Chief Financial Officer for Reynolds Construction Company. Reynolds consists of a series of five diversified companies based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  He has been with the company for ten years and recently joined the Harrisburg Rotary Club several months ago.

Hal Hurwitz reminded us all that the Salvation Army bell ringing will be on December 15th and 16th (Tuesday and Wednesday) in Strawberry Square. Please mark your calendars and consider helping out again this year. Only one hour of your time.

Bob Hostetter informed us that our schedule speaker, State Representative Ron Marsico, cancelled on us late last week. In the spirit of moving onward the club moved right into the auction portion of our program. Pre pancake breakfast auction items included a plane ride, recreational water ride, Coakley's gift certificate, Giant gift card, seperate (two) five course dinner, wine tasting, 4 bottles of wine, Hilton/theatre/wine gift basket, and pancake breakfast t-shirts. Thanks to the generosity of those Rotarians who were the winning bidders, $2,020 was raised from these auctioned items.  Much thanks to our auctioneer, Irene Berman Levine for donating her time and energy to this important cause.

Pancake breakfast ticket money can be turned into Linda and financial donations are still needed to underwrite the cost of the big screen television (door prize at event) and one spot is still available for the placemat at $125.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:10 P.M. Our next weekly meeting will be on Monday, October 19th (in two weeks) at 333 Market Street. Please RSVP to Linda if you will be attending.
